I am an experienced performer and music educator offering virtual lessons to keep young bassoonists engaged and on-track during coronavirus closures, summer, and beyond.
I tailor my curriculum to meet the needs and objectives of each student. Preparing for a band audition in the fall? Working towards All State next year? I help students set and accomplish their individual goals, while establishing skills and knowledge for longterm success.
Lessons
During weekly 60-minute video lessons, I work with K-12 students ranging from bassoon beginners to advanced performers and cover a range of topics including technique, musical phrasing, and intonation.

Ryan has really helped my daughter improve her skills this year. She has made great strides in developing her vibrato and improving her tone and volume. Ryan not only provides challenging music, but also reinforces basic skills, scales and music theory.
