About Me
I am a bassoonist with a background in performance, education, and orchestral management. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in music education from Lynchburg College and Master of Arts in bassoon performance from University of North Carolina School of the Arts. I also hold two professional artist certificates, from the University of South Carolina and University of North Carolina School of the Arts. I have more than five years of teaching experience, both as an instructor of record for undergraduate coursework and as a private instructor for middle and high school aged students. I enjoy working with students one-on-one, and seeing their self-confidence, performance skills, and music appreciation grow in time.
